We carry out various 3D laser scanning tests, scanning for reverse engineering, wear and deformation analysis, dimensional and metrological control. For these activities, we have chosen equipment from our partner FARO, a leader in the field.

01 Scanning for reverse engineering

It allows existing components to be digitally reconstructed in order to optimise design or reproduce parts that are no longer in production. The 3D laser scanner acquires geometries with high precision to generate CAD models. The mathematical model obtained through laser scanning allows surfaces of any object to be reconstructed in a very short time, facilitating the creation of prototypes or moulds for pre-series production in different materials and, consequently, reducing the product's time-to-market.

02 Dimensional and metrological control

Allows you to verify the dimensional conformity of a piece with respect to technical drawings or CAD models, identifying any deviations or defects.

03 Scanning for wear and deformation analysis

Used to monitor the wear of mechanical or structural components over time, comparing repeated scans to identify geometric variations.
